Coloring between the lines

It is true that the legislature has failed to draw new Congressional districts — and ended with the Torture Convention and Senator lines that twisted to protect incumbents, resembled puzz from contiguous communities.

The fact is that when a judicial special master, U.S. magistrate judge Roanne Brooklyn Mann took over the process, Congress made no opinion lines for employment protection for incumbents — which yielded result much more healthy.

This is not a fact that the judge appointed to disenfranchise minority voters.

Otherwise, I think to hear Assemblyman Keith Wright, who is black and who serves as the Manhattan democratic leader, and State Sen. Adriano Espaillat, who is Hispanic.

Two injected objectionable and counterproductive racial rhetoric and what should be a discussion about creating a more responsive democracy.

The setting was a Weekend rally where these local politicians gathered to argue that Rep.

Region of Charlie Ra ngel must remain majority African-American. This is a point on which reasonable people can disagree.

Wright chose to be less political. Playing with the term "special master," put hard the second word in the phrase, attacked a judge comparing a slave owner.

He said: "the master, the master specialists. I have a problem with the term. Captain drew special Congressional lines. I don't like to be told what to do a special master. "But the master special drew some lines, frankly, that we have isolated black and Brown communities."

Then came Espaillat, who is exploring a run for the seat of Rangel — while also pushing for creation of a new headquarters in upper Manhattan, Queens Bronx is favorable for Latinos.

Senator who said: "cracking, that means that Latinos share into two groups that either team would not have enough votes to elect a candidate.

"Therefore, These crackers are still around today, here, now, that here today, cracking the whole city districts of New York, cracks, cracks here and there cracking in the Bronx and cracks in Manhattan t
o prevents us forward, that day has come. "

In fact, the day has come to reject race as a puff of smoke the card played so lightly.
